Great shots! I bet you can’t guess which one my favourite is!
I guess the choice is absolute; there is no (new) face that can fade the image Colin Firth portrayed as Mr. Darcy.
For me the choice is easy. Matthew Macfayden is the quintessential Fitzwilliam Darcy.

Who can help but shiver upon viewing a wet Mr. Darcy, be it Matthew MacFadyen or Colin Firth? All the men are Byronesque and the latter two are wonderfully sensual. Still, my overall favorite is David Rintoul since he best captures Jane Austen’s depiction of who Mr. Darcy really is.

oh dear colin firth is absolutely unbeatable. He just LooKS like a Darcy! ohh he’s so handsome and portrays Darcy’s personality so perfectly… a Darcy better than him? it can’t be done. <3
Colin Firth is Thee Mr. Darcy hands down! The 1995 movie held close to Jane Austens book which is paramount. But gave use the perfect visual with Colin Firth. Then came Elliot Cowan in “Lost In Austen” which gave use the passion and emotion lacking(understandably) in the BBC movie and Jane Austens book. I find my Mr. Darcy often…..in my dreams…
My vote goes to matthew macfayden. His sensitivity & strength. Ahh. I have watched that version of P & P many, many times.
